Managing Leadership Stress & Overwhelm:
One days training

Modern leadership is evolving and so is the level of accompanying stress. Many leaders are supporting teams towards a common vision, working towards targets, navigating a rapidly changing and volatile global landscape whilst trying to holistically support team wellbeing as people enter the post covid era. The ongoing and rapidly shifting pressures can feel overwhelming. 
These extra roles and responsibilities add to the already heavy stress burden that most leaders carry. Effectiveness, fast thinking and empathetic decision making are integral to performance yet the demands of modern organisations creates high stress environments that cultivate the opposite level of performance. 
Whilst many leaders realise the value of tactical stress regulation for optimal performance, strengthening teams and over all holistic health - yet they aren't sure where to start, as they have more vital things to focus on fixing first.

Our quest to 'get things done' creates the situations we are working hard to avoid. Putting stress management off is the fastest way to burn out, bad decisions and an unproductive and demotivated team. 

This training day is designed to give the practical education, guidance and tools that you need to  to understand, manage and work with stress and overwhelm. Using neuroscience and positive psychology to be the most  effective, productive and pragmatic leader that you can be, one that works with ongoing pressure and stress, instead of against it.

Learning Outcomes

This training day is designed to reduce overwhelm so that you can implement strategies immediately to help recognise and reduce stress straight away.  By the end of the training day you will be able to;
Understand the different types of stress
 Recognise the different branches of the autonomic nervous system and the role they play in stress management
 Understand the 'Zone of Tolerance' in accordance with your nervous system along with key ways to help regulate
 Have a plan of what stress looks like for you, how it impacts your ability to perform effectively and how to work with  your stress response instead of against
 Recognise your individual and team triggers that lead to poor performance and overwhelm
 Develop your own blueprint for stress regulation in the home and workplace
 Gain greater understanding of stress on your teams ability to perform 
 Use positive affect to support wellbeing and improve performance
